Rawson is located in Hancock County, Ohio, and according to the 2010 census the population was 570. This was the birthplace of American mathematician Cassius Jackson Keyser. Rawson is made up of 0.40 square miles of total area, all of which consists of land. This city can be described as having a humid continental climate zone. Precipitation is moderate year-round, and the city experiences cold winters and hot summers.
Due to the small size of Rawson, there are no notable attractions located there. However, neighboring Findlay does provide recreational and entertainment options to visitors and residents of Rawson. The Van Buren State Park is located in this area, as are the Hancock Historical Museum and the Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation. Movie lovers may also enjoy a night out at Carmike 12.
